Shiner - Hilda H. Hagendorf, 98, of Shiner, died Friday, May 30, 2003.

She was born May 14, 1905, in Shiner to the late Edmund and Anna Niellson Pfeil. She was a homemaker and member of Dr. Martin Luther United Lutheran Church.

Survivors: daughter, Maurine Gaskins of Victoria; sister, Wilma Stoever of Victoria; brother, Edwin Pfeil of Shiner; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: husband, Willie Hagendorf Jr.; and brother, Melvin Pfeil.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at Buffington Funeral Home chapel.

A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.

Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Dr. Martin Luther United Lutheran Church, the Rev. Charles Eckert officiating.

Burial will be at Shiner City Cemetery. Buffington Funeral Home, Shiner, 361-594-3352.
