Victoria Advocate November 26, 2002 Agnes C. Hajek, 84, of Victoria, died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2002. She was born April 15, 1918, in Flatonia, to the late Ed and Mary Sandera Branecky. She was a retired cook for DeTar Hospital and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Survivors: husband, Ludwig Hajek; daughter, Evelyn Kalischko of Victoria; sons, Bennie Hajek, Edwin Hajek and Louis Hajek, all of Victoria; sisters, Cecilia Vrana of Victoria, Emma Vrana of Flatonia, Pauline Klesel of Richmond and Lillian Holubec of Bryan; brothers, Frank Branecky of Flatonia and Joe Branecky of Seguin; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. tonight at Colonial Funeral Home chapel. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Msgr. James C. Brunner officiating.
