Charles Hajek, who passed away in the Shiner Hospital, Friday, February 20, 1981, at the age of 83.

Funeral services were held Sunday, February 22 at 2 p.m. at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Shiner with the Rev. Patrick Fidgeon officiation. Burial was in the Shiner Catholic Cemetery.

Brother Hajek was born 22 January 1898 at Praha, Fayette County, Texas.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Olga Hajek of Shiner; two sons, Laddie Hajek of Shiner, Marvin Hajek of Victoria; two daughters, Mrs. James (Florine) Stluka of Victoria, Mrs. Willie (Evelyn) Stock of Sugar Land; one brother, Louis Hajek of Victoria; four sisters, Mrs. Frank (Annie) Novak of Shiner, Mrs. Willie (Ella) Koliba, Mrs. James (Emma) Koliba of Victoria and Mrs. Jim (Julie) Bortel of Inez; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-granchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

May our departed brother rest in eternal peace and may his memory live among us forever.
