Agnes C. Hajek, 96, of Beasley died Thursday, Aug. 19, 1993.

She was born June 22, 1897, in Lavaca County. She was united in marriage to Alfred Hajek on Sept. 25, 1916. Mrs. Hajek was a homemaker and a member of the Catholic Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Sylvia Poessel of Beasley, and one grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mildred Vanek; and three brothers, Edward Chovanetz, John Chovanetz and Charles Chovanetz.

Services were held at 10 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 22 at Ascension Church, Moravia. Rev. Brian Crookes officiated.

Burial followed in the Moravia Catholic Cemetery, under the direction of Schwenke-Baumgarten Funeral Home, Schulenburg.
