Victoria Advocate April 27, 2002 Shiner -- Lillie Annie Hajek, 89, of Shiner, died Friday, April 26, 2002. She was born Sept. 16, 1912, in Shiner, to the late Martin and Frances Nevlud Fric. She was a homemaker and Catholic. She was member of KJZT, the Altar Society, Catholic Daughters and KJT. Survivors: daughters, Georgia Chumchal and Mary Koenning, both of Shiner, Lillian Hosek of Austin and Alice Rangnow of Universal City; sons, Thomas Hajek of Shiner and James Hajek of Seguin; sisters, Theresa McCord of Yoakum, Rosie Kurtz of Shiner, Frances Hajek of New Braunfels and Bertha Shindler of Houston; brother, Joe Fric of Victoria; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: husband, Tom C. Hajek; sisters, Justina Darilek, Henrietta Darilek, Sister M. Zaveria and Annie Rawelka; brothers, Martin Fric, Mike Fric, Tom Fric, Jim Fric and Charlie Fric; and parents. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. tonight at Buffington Funeral Home chapel.A KJZT, Altar Society and Catholic Daughters, rosary will be recited at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Church, the Rev. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Burial will be at Shiner Catholic Cemetery.
