Mrs. Effie Hajek, 76, of Moravia, passed away Saturday, August 26, 1972, in a Weimar hospital, at 11:30 p. m.

Mrs. Hajek was born September 12, 1895 in Granger, and was a member of the Moravia Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services were held Monday, August 28th, at 8:45 a.m., at the Kubena Funeral Home here, and at 10:00 a. m. at Moravia Catholic Church where Rev. Stanley Petru offered a Funeral Mass and conducted other rites at the cemetery and funeral home.

Interment was in the Moravia Catholic Cemetery.

Surviving are her husband, W. E. Hajek of Moravia; two daughters, Mrs. W. A. Hill and Mrs. Hilmer Haas of Baytown; two sisters, Mrs. Joe Pekar and Mrs. Hattie Janek, and a brother, Frank Janek, all of Granger; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
