Inez - Janell Hajek, 46, of Inez, died Friday, July 26, 2002.

She was born Dec. 5, 1955, in Victoria, to Eugene Hajek of Inez and the late Frances Stock Hajek. She was a volunteer at Industrial ISD and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Survivors: father; stepmother, Ruby Hajek of Inez; brother, Bill Hajek of Lolita; and stepbrothers, Dwain Franz of Schulenburg; Walter Franz of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Eddie Franz of Houston and Larry Franz of Inez.

Preceded in death by: mother.

A rosary will be recited 7 p.m. Monday at Slavik Funeral Home chapel.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Inez, the Rev. Benton Thurmond officiating. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Victoria. Slavik Funeral Home, Edna, 361-782-2152.
