We, the Resolution Committee of SPJST Lodge No. 73 of Seymour, Texas, on
behalf of the officers and entire membership, wish to express our deepest
sympathy to the family of Joe Frank Hajek, who passed away Saturday, April 18, 1987 in the hospital. Services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Harry Fisher officiating. Burial was in the SPJST Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Seymour Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Brother Hajek was born on April 7, 1914 in Baylor County, Texas and was a lifelong resident. He married Angeline Cuba on November 8, 1937 in Megargel, Texas. He was a farmer and a Catholic. He was a member of Knights of Columbus and SPJST Lodge Sam Houston No. 73 in Seymour. Survivors in clude his wife, Angeline Hajek; one daughter, Carol Vacker of Seattle, Washington; three sisters, Albina Michena of Wichita Falls, Edith Michalik and Mary Coufal, foth of Seymour; one brother, Jesse Hajek of Seymour; and six grandchildren.
