Ennis Daily News May 27, 2002 Mr. John Paul Hajek, 37, died Saturday, May 25, at Parkland Hospital in Dallas. He was born July 26, 1964 in Ennis, the son of Johnnie Lee and Mary Ann Jakubik Hajek. He was reared in Ennis where he attended St. John School and was a 1982 graduate of Ennis High School. He then attended Navarro College for two years where he earned his Associate Business Degree. He worked and managed Hajek Grocery for 24 years. He was a very kind and loving brother. He was member of St. John Catholic Church and the KJT. He is survived by his parents, Johnnie and Mary Ann Hajek of Ennis; a brother and his wife, Dennis and Kim Hajek of DeSoto; two sisters and their husbands, Deborah and David Maki of Duncanville, Cynthia and Garland Marshall of Ennis; three nieces; two nephews; and one great-nephew. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Monday in the Keever Chapel. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. John Catholic Church with Father Robert Williams as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever
