The Sharon Gail Halamicek, 39, of Houston died May 18 [2002].

Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 22 [2002] at 10 a.m. at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus. Burial was in the Halamicek Family Cemetery in Roznov.

Halamicek is a graduate of CyFair High School and the University of Houston.

Survivors include her parents, Marlene Blezinger Halamicek of Houston, Ben and Billie Halamicek of Columbus; sister and brother-in-law, Glinda Novosad and Robert Conners of Houston; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Becki Halamicek of Denver, Colo.; step-brother and wife, Bill and Malynda Carroll of Lindale; and stepbrother, Brett Carroll of Tennessee Colony.

Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.

Henneke Funeral Home of Columbus was in charge of arrangements.
