Married Willie A. Halm on January 12, 1932, in Carmine, Tx and remained married for 64 years until his death in 1996.

Born to Hedwig Neumann and Erwin C. Warnasch in New Ulm, Tx.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Barnell W. Halm and sister, Sadie E. Lincke.

Survived by daughter, Lea Lawson; and brother, Royal B. Warnasch and wife, Laura Belle; four grandchildren, Randi Wood and husband, Lawrence, Joe Halm and wife, Tamera, Kevin Lawson and wife, Nancy, and Leanna Myers and husband, Bill. Eight great-grandchildren, Chelsea and Sam Irick, Sarah Wood, Anissa and Ariel Gutierrez, Andrew, Samantha, and Jessica Lawson; and daughter-in-law, Jane Ann Halm. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Retired from J. C. Penney Company after 52 years of service.

Member of Zion Lutheran Church in Houston, Tx.

Koenig-Strickland Funeral Home of La Grange, Tx is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 3606 Beauchamp, Houston, Tx. Services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church at 11 AM with internment at 1 p.m. at Forest Park Lawndale in Houston.

Pallbearers: Joe Halm, Kevin Lawson, Bill Lawson, Cleburne Lincke, Bill Myers, and Lawrence Wood.

Honorary Pallbearers: Randi Wood, Leanna Myers, Tamera Halm and Nancy Lawson.

A most loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Zion Lutheran Church.
