Martha Louise "Ma" Hand, 71, of West died Monday, February 11, 2002 at a Waco hospital.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at White Rock Cemetery with the Rev. Bruce Carpenter officiating.

Mrs. Hand was born August 15, 1930 in Elm Mott and had lived in the Elm Mott/West area all her life. She was a housewife and Mehtodist. She married James E. Hand January 22, 1949 in Waco.

Mrs. Hand is survived by husband James E. Hand of West; sons Slim Hand, Bimbo Hand and Ty Hand, all of West; and grandchildren, Tracer, Cody and Stacy Hand and Shane Machac, all of West.
