Houston Chronicle 10/29/2002 Martha Barbara Hanslik, 84, died of natural causes, October 26, 2002. Born May 02, 1918 in Schulenberg, Tx. As a homemaker, she raised five children and had five grandchildren. She was happily married to Alvin Carl Hanslik for 50 years who preceded her in death in 1992. Mrs. Hanslik is survived by her four sons, David C. Hanslik and wife, Rae Andrews of Houston, their children, Julian, Joy, and Kristen; Curtis C. Hanslik of Austin and his children, Kacie and Jeffrey; Bruce C. Hanslik of Houston, and Eli C. Hanslik of Austin; only one daughter, Patricia A. Hanslik of Houston; also by her brothers, William Vrana and his wife, Joyce, of Corpus Christi; Eddie Vrana and his wife, Dot, of Yoakum; and her sisters, Millie Berger of Moravia and Ollie Pospisil of Praha, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives, friends and neighbors. A Rosary Service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, November 01, 2002 at the Earthman Bellaire Funeral Chapel, 6700 Ferris, Father Nguyen of Holy Ghost Catholic Church officiating. The family wishes to extend a "special thanks" for all the love and support
from the many relatives, friends and neighbors, and to her caretakers of this
past year: Marlene Lewis, Beverly Brown, Delores Barnes, Dalarna Gardner, Kay
