Flatonia - Edwin Frank Kacer, 69, of Flatonia and formerly of Ganado, died Tuesday, July 6, 2004.

He was born Dec. 6, 1934, in Burleson County, to the late Frank and Rosie Sobotik Kacer. He was a farmer and rancher and a member of Knights of Columbus No. 3204 and Assumption Catholic Church.

Survivors: wife, Beatrice Stepan Kacer of Flatonia; daughter, Sharon Lynn Coburn of Richmond; sons, Gary Wayne Kacer of Ganado and Edwin Ray Kacer of Austin; sisters, Georgia Meyers of Brazoria and Margie Ames, Rosie Wendel, and Annie Mae Bundick, all of Bay City; brothers, Larry Kacer of Louisiana, Bernard Kacer of Alabama, Joe Kacer of Blessing, Edmund Kacer of Ganado, A.J. Kacer of Palacios, Frankie Kacer of Florida, and Milton Ray Kacer of Wharton; and four grandchildren.

A rosary will be recited 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Assumption Catholic Church of Ganado.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Joseph Hybner officiating.

Burial will be at Assumption Catholic Cemetery. Ganado Funeral Home, Ganado, 361-771-2120.

Memorials: Hospice of Victoria, Assumption Catholic Church of Praha or Assumption Catholic Church of Ganado.
