Felix C. Kadlecek, 88, of Smithville died Saturday, Oct. 5 [2002].

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 8 [2002] at Marrs-Jones Chapel with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Karel Fink officiated.

Born March 15, 1914, he was the son of Joseph and Rosie (Mikulenka) Kadlecek.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Bernice Kadlecek; two sons, Ronnie Kadlecek and wife Valerie; and Jody Kadlecek and wife Cory, all of Smithville; two sisters, Hilda Tanecka of Smithville and Eileen Ryza of La Grange; and three grandchildren, Clint Kadlecek and Jaimie and Jeremy Kadlecek.
