El Campo -- Marilyn A. Kahanek, 76, of El Campo, died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2001.

She was born May 26, 1925, in Rochester, Minn., to the late Frank and Olive Fansler Dalton. She was a homemaker.

Survivors: husband, Daniel J. Kahanek; daughters, Jacqulyn Ditsler of Richmond and Carolyn Singeltary of Houston; sister, Kathleen Brown of Brenham; and brother, Jack Dalton of Arkansas.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Triska Funeral Home chapel. Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel. Services will be 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel, the Rev. George Keebler.
