Houston -- Agnes Frances Kahanek, 83, of Houston and formerly of El Campo, died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2001.

She was born Aug. 3, 1918, in Holman, to the late Charles and Mary Vojacek. She was a homemaker and a Catholic.

Survivors: sons, Douglas Kahanek of Waco and Ronald Kahanek of Houston; sisters, Frances Skuca of El Campo and Martha Crank of Houston; brother, Jerry Vojacek of Baytown; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: husband, Ignac R. Kahanek; son, Dennis Kahanek; parents; sisters, Annie Vojacek, Georgia Vojacek, Emma Martinka and Mary Skalisky; and brother, Jimmy Vojacek.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Sunday at Triska Funeral Home chapel.

A rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. Philip's Catholic Church.

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at the church.

Burial will be at Holy Cross Memorial Park. Triska Funeral Home, El Campo, 979-543-3681.
