Victoria Advocate February 19, 2002 Hobson -- Lillie Kainer, 92, of Hobson, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2002. She was born Dec. 28, 1909, in Kenny, to the late Herman and Augusta Keoppen Kunkel. She was a homemaker and had worked in the cafeteria for Falls City High School. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Survivors: daughter, Maxine Wevel of Devine; son, Harvey Kainer of Runge; sister Lucille Dieter of Georgetown, Ky.; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: husband, Victor Kainer; sister; Elsie Laake; and parents. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the Rev. Arnold Moede officiating. Lillie Kainer, a resident of Hobson, passed away Sunday, Feb. 17, 2002, at the age of 92 years, 1 month, and 20 days. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 20, in St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Karnes City. Interment will follow in the Hobson Cemetery.
