Vestnik 14 Nov 2001 Expresson of Sympathy We, the members of the Resolution Committee, on behalf of the membership of Karel Jonas, No. 28, East Bernard, Texas, wish to express out deepest and sincerest sympathy to the family of our departed sister,
89, of East Bernard. Mrs. Kainer passed away on Monday, October 15, 2001 at Czech Catholic Home for the Aged in Hillje. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, October 17 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in East Bernard. Interment followed at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery in Beasley. Father Henry Rachunek officiated the service. Visitation was at 5 p.m., Tuesday, October 16 at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel in East Bernard. A rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Lillian was born February 29, 1912 in Engle to Charles and Julia Kubecka Sbrusch. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Julia Sbrusch; husband, of 65 years, William "Bill" Kainer; brother, Louis, Charlie and Frank Sbrusch. She is survived by a son, Lawrence W. Kainer and wife, Mary Ann of El Campo; daughter, Josephine Eagleton and husband, Norman of Sugar Land; grandchildren, Charles and Thomas Kainer, Teri Pfister, Glen Rutherford and Lisa Regan; brother, William and Bennie Sbrusch; and 10great-grandchildren. Lillian touched the hearts and lives of everyone she met and she will be dearly missed by all.
