Selma Kainer, 94, died At Schulenburg Nursing Center Sunday, April 3.

Funeral services were held at St Mary's Catholic Church in High Hill April 5 with burial in the church cemetery.

The Rev Tim Kosler officiated.

She was born at Middle Creek Nov 16, 1910, the daughter of Joe and Emilia (Bednarz) Kainer.

A lifelong resident of Fayette County, she worked on the farm and was a member of St Marys Church at High Hill. Survivors include 4 nephews and 2 nieces, great-great-nephews and great-great nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Kainer; 3 sisters, Regina Kainer, Hedwig Kainer Banse, and Bertha Kainer and one niece, Leona Banse Gomez.
