Services for Shirley Jean Kalinec, 44, of Bryan are set for 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bryan.

The Rev. John McCaffrey of St. Joseph Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.

A rosary will be recited at 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Kalinec died Friday at Bryton Inn in Bryan.

She was a lifelong resident of Bryan and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She worked as a technical writer for the Texas Transportation Institute at Texas A&M University for 20 years.

Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Kalinec of Bryan; a son, Lucas Kalinec of Bryan; a daughter, Cassie Kalinec of Bryan; Carrie Charanza of Bryan; a brother, Donald Charanza of Bryan; and two sisters, Peggy Rockhold of Houston and Debbie Stevener of Kurten.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
