Flatonia - Agnes Theresa Kalinec, 88, of Flatonia died Saturday, April 23, 2005.

She was born Dec. 9, 1916, in Cistern to the late Charles A. Frebert and Alvina E. Mares Frebert. She was a homemaker, a member of KJZT and a member of Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church.

Survivors: daughter, Carol Cline of Cistern; two sons, Frank J. Kalinec of Pasadena and Daniel J. Kalinec of Cistern; sisters, Veronica Robbins of Kountze and Rosie Bochnke of Cistern; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: husband, Frank L. Kalinec; brothers, Joe Frebert and Charlie Frebert; and one grandchild.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. today at Smith Funeral Home, Flatonia.

A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Monday at Smith Funeral Home.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Cyril Catholic Church, Cistern, the Rev. Joe Hybner officiating.

Burial will be at Cistern Catholic Cemetery. Smith Funeral Home, Flatonia, 361-865-3311.
