Victoria Advocate October 21, 2002 Schulenburg - Lucy Kalmus, 82, of Schulenburg, died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2002. She was born Aug. 24, 1920, in Lavaca County, to the late John L. and Mary Frances Svoboda Mozisek. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church. Survivors: daughters, Dolores Michalke of Schulenburg; son, Alfonse Kalmus Jr. of Hallettsville; sister, Lillian Harned of Hallettsville; brothers, Julius Mozisek of El Campo and Charles Mozisek of Inez; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: husband, Alfonse B. Kalmus Sr.; and parents. Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. today at Kubena Funeral Home chapel. A rosary will be recited 7:30 p.m. tonight at the funeral home chapel. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Church, the Rev. John Peters officiating.
