Frank Kaluza, 78, died Saturday at a local nursing home.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Louis Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery with Father David Liebham officiating. Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Brookview Funeral Home.

Mr. Kaluza was born in Elk. He was the son of the late Joe and Rosa Marie Kaluza. He served in the US Navy during WWII.

Survivors include sisters, Mary Goodspeed of Tuscon, Arizona, Minnie Welch of Waco, Frances D'auria and husband Peter of Spring Lake Heights, N.J., Agnes Laine of Waco, and Betty Shapland and husband Richard of Waco; brother Ray T. Kaluza and wife Florence of Waco; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
