Yoakum -- Mrs. Dodie Karl,39, of Yoakum, died Saturday, March 3, 2001.

She was born Nov. 6, 1961,in Yoakum, to Doris Friedel of Yoakum and

the late Bill Friedel. She was a graduate of Yoakum High School in 1980 and former secretary for Buffington Funeral Home. She was a member of First Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Survivors: husband, Kenneth Karl; sons, Travis Karl, Matt Karl, Jason Karl and Caleb Karl, all of Yoakum; mother; and brothers, Terry Friedel of Victoria and Kenny Friedel of Georgetown.

Preceded in death by: father; and sister, Joan Thiele.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. tonight at Buffington Funeral Home in Yoakum. Services will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Yoakum Community Center, the Rev. Richard Bowden officiating.

Private graveside services will be held at County Line Cemetery.
