John Kasik, Sr., 75, of the Penelope/Malone area, celebrated his victory over cancer by leaving this earth and entering into eternal life with his Lord and Savior, Oct. 3, 2001.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, at West Brethren Church in West with the Rev. Joseph Polasek officiating, assisted by the Rev. Don Ketcham and the Rev. Gordon Hejl. Military graveside rites will follow at West Brethren Cemetery, conducted by the V.F.W. Post No. 4819.

Memorials may be made to West Brethren Kitchen Building Fund, West Brethren's Sunday School or Hillcrest Community Hospice.
