Victoria Advocate Online December 17, 2001 Monday El Campo -- Willie Cyril Kaspar, 66, of El Campo, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2001. He was born Oct. 20, 1935, in Ganado, to the late John and Mary Vesely Kaspar. He was a building contractor for 31 years and became maintenance supervisor at St. Philip's Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus No. 2490, K.J.T. and St. Philip's Catholic Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a rancher. Survivors: wife, Annie Merra Kaspar; daughter, Jennifer Kaspar of El Campo; son, Gerard Kaspar of El Campo; sister, Lexia Ribeiro of Houston; and brother, Leo Kaspar of Ganado. Preceded in death by: parents; and infant brother. Visitation was 11 a.m. Sunday at Triska Funeral Home chapel. Wake services were 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home chapel. A Knights of Columbus rosary was recited at 6 p.m. Sunday at the chapel. Services will be 3 p.m. today at St. Philip's Catholic Church, the Rev. Michael Petering officiating. Entombment with military honors, under the auspices of American Legion Post 251, will be at Holy Cross Memorial Park. Triska Funeral Home, El Campo, 979-543-3681.
