Karnes City - Steve Kotzur, 72, of Karnes City, died Wednesday, July 21, 2004.

He was born Dec. 1, 1931, in Karnes County, to the late August Sr. and Clara Biela Kotzur. He was a member of St. Cornelius Catholic Church.

Survivors: sister, Sophie Retzloff of Lenz Community. Preceded in death by: sisters, Mary Guzman and Megland Kotzur; and brothers, Anton Kotzur, August Kotzur, Dan Kotzur, Eli Kotzur, and Jesse Kotzur.

A rosary will be recited 7 p.m. tonight at Rhodes Funeral Home chapel. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Cornelius Catholic Church, the Rev. Adrian Adamik officiating.

Burial will be at Cestohowa Cemetery.
