Funeral services for Pearl Louise (Beckmann) Macat, 74, were held Oct 26 at the Nelsonville Brethren Church with Rev Michael Groseclose officiating. Burial followed in the National Cemetery. She died Oct 24 in Bellville. She was born on Oct 12, 1926 in Bellville, the daughter of Edwin and Ladella (Abel) Beckmann. She married Jesse Frank Macat on Oct 4, 1947. She was raised in Bleiberville where she attended public school. She was a member of the Christian Nelsonville Sisters and SPJST Lodge 201, Bleiberville. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Roy Beckmann; sister, Myrtle Macat. Survivors include her husband of Nelsonville; son, Frankie and wife Marlene Macat of Bleiberville; daughter, Kathy and husband Clayton Ignasiak of Bellville; grandsons, Matt Macat of Bleiberville, Chris and Kevin Ignasiak of Bellville; sister, Myrtle Bentke of Brenham. Pallbearers were Neil Beckmann, Matt Macat, Chris Ignasiak, Kevin Ignasiak, Monte Warmke and Bubby Siptak. Honorary pallbearer was Warren Warmke. Funeral handled by Schmidt Funeral Home of Bellville.
