Mass of the Christian Burial for James R. Mach was celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Johns Catholic Church with Rev. Ernie Villaroya as celebrant. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Keever Chapel. Interment was in St. Joseph's Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary with the following serving as pallbearers: Jason Wilson, Billy fuller, D.J. Glenn, Robert Glenn, Jerry Glenn and Joe Glenn. Mr. Mach, 54, died Sunday, Aug. 4, at the Ennis Regional Medical Center. He was born Feb. 19, 1948, in Ennis. He was reared in Ennis by his grandparents, Frank L. and Mary Slovacek Mach. He attended St. John High School. He entered the US Air Force, serving one tour of duty in Vietnam. On June 14, 1980 he was married to Linda C. Gentry of Ennis. After their marriage they lived in Ennis. He loved music, loved to fish and loved his family get-togethers. He loved his grandchildren, who called him Paw-Paw. He was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church and the KJT for over 25 years. He is survived by his wife, Linda, of Ennis, 3 children, Jay Hellner of Ft. Worth, Lisa and her husband, Clint Nash of Ennis, Lezlie Mach and her fiancé, Justin Britton of Ennis; 2 grandchildren, Clint and Fallyn Nash of Ennis; his mother Wilma Babovic of Ennis; sisters, Mary Glenn of Ennis, Elizabeth Valek of Sunnyvale, Margaret Cerny of Dallas, Mildred Banks of Ennis, Earlene Slovak of Ennis, Kathy Rust of Dallas and Debra Shutte of Ennis; brothers, Edmund Zimmerhanzel all of Rice; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank Mach and David T. Mach and his wife, Dorothy; nephews, David Ray Mach and Steven Cerny and his grandparents, Frank Louis and Mary Slovacek Mach.
