Online, 4/10/03: Boling - Justin E. Mach Sr., 84, of Boling, died Tuesday, April 8, 2003.

He was born Feb. 25, 1919, in Hillje, to the late John and Annie Socha Mach. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in WWII. He was a vat operator for Texas Gulf Sulphur, retiring in 1977 and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Boling.

Survivors: wife, Mildred Mach; daughters, Delores Svatek of Boling and Dorothy Marek of Shiner; sons, Justin Mach Jr. and Gary Mach, both of Boling; nine grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: parents.

Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today at Wharton Funeral Home chapel.

A rosary will be recited 7 p.m. tonight at the funeral home chapel.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, the Rev. Joe Vrana officiating.

Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Wharton. Wharton Funeral Home, Wharton, 979-532-3410.

Memorials: Hospice Support Care or St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
