Abstract of Obituary.

Funeral services for Annie (Prazak) Macha, 88, of Wallis were held at Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Wallis with the Rev Richard Johnston SCJ officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

She died April 30 in Houston. She was born June 21, 1911 in East Bernard, the daughter of Frank and Tillie (Vasek) Prazak. She married Theo Machaon Sept 24, 1934 in East Bernard.

She was raised in the East Bernard area and attended Holy Cross Catholic School. The Machas made their home in the Tavenor area where she was a homemaker. She was active in the Guardian Angel Church, baking kolaches, sewing quilts and helping in any way she could. She was a member of the KJT, KJZT, and Guardian Angel Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Fran Demny; parents, 4 sisters, Tillie Dusek, Frances Viaclovsky, Agnes Mures and Angeline Prazak; 5 brothers, Vencil, Albert, Blasé, Sylvester and John Prazak; and a son-in-law, Luke Meyer.

Survivors include 3 daughters, Annie Meyer of Pasadena, Mary Jane Macha, Georgie and husband George Bergen, all of Richmond; 6 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Deby Nelson, Mike Bergen, Greg Jalowy, Al Haynes, and Dennis and Daniel Viktorin.

Funeral handled by Knesek Family Funeral Chapels of Wallis.
