El Campo - Services for Ralph A. Macha, 79, of El Campo, who died Thursday, will be held at 2 p.m. today at Saint Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, the Revs. Thu Nguyen and Michael Lyons and Deacon Jerrel Nohavitza officiating. Burial will be at Holy Cross Mausoleum with military honors under the auspices of El Campo American Legion Post No. 251. Triska Funeral Home, El Campo, (409) 543-3681. Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, March 15, at Saint Philip Catholic Church. Pallbearers: Floyd Fread, Alan Janak, Arnold Johnson, Edmund Kana, Ronald Pasak and Bruce Reber. Honorary pallbearers: Anthony Pall, Ralph Reber, Alfred Schulze, Jr., Robert Schulze, James Smith and Albert Wied. Memorials: Saint Philip School Endowment Fund. Macha, 79, of El Campo died Thursday, March 6, 1997. He was born January 5, 1918, in El Campo, to the late Roman and Lena Reber Macha. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a retired mechanic of Shult Implement Co., having served 35 years. He was a member of American Legion Post No. 251 for 45 years and was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church. Survivors: wife, Leona Kruppa Macha; daughters, Garnett Larza of Spring and Susan Hanie of Kerrville; sisters, Leona Sebera, of New Braunfels and Irene Blankenburg of Gonzales; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: brother, Herbert Macha; and sisters, Hilda Reber and Ellen Schulze.
