El Campo --Lena Macha, 101, of El Campo died Friday morning at a local nursing home following a long illness. She was born March 6, 1884, in Wingeshausen, Germany, daughter of John and Katherine Linde Reber. Mrs. Macha had lived in El Campo for 93 years. Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Triska Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Art Haddock will officiate. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. She is survived by four daughters, Hilda Reber of Wharton, Hellen (sic)Schulze of El Campo, Leona Sebera of New Braunfels and Irene Blakenburg of Gonzales; a son, Ralph Macha of El Camp; and eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Robert Schulze, Alfred Schulze Jr., Ralph Reber, Edward Larza, Jim Haynie, Rick Gullett, Gary Schoenvogel and Edward Sebera Jr. (Note :Please contact me if you have a connection to anyone in this obituary.
