Mission - Frank Machac Sr., 65, died Sunday, April 23, 2000 at Mission Hospital. Born December 7, 1934, in McCook, Texas, Mr. Machac had lived in McCook his entire life. He was a farmer. Survivors include his wife, Angela Machac; children, Yvonne Payton, Eileen Wyant, Monica Vale, Becky Palomarez, Vanessa Galvan, Frank Machac, Jr., and Michelle Machac; 16 grandchildren; mother, Lillie Machac; and sisters, Ida Mae Keller, Evelyn Kotara, and Rosie Lee Hommel. He was preceded in death by her (sic) father, T.F. Machac, and a brother, Richard Machac. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today, April 26, 2000, with a 7 p.m. rosary at Virgil Wilson Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 27, 2000, at Immaculate Conception in McCook. Father Tom Kulleck will officiate. Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in McCook, Texas. Procession leaves at 9:15 a.m. from Virgil Wilson to McCook. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, 1515 Holcomb Blvd., 541, Houston, Texas 77030. Local arrangements are under the direction of Virgil Wilson Mortuary in Mission.
