Albina Annie Machalicek, 97 died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003 at her residence in Taylor.

Machalicek was born Dec. 31, 1905 in Flatonia, Texas the daughter of Joseph and Josephine(Tomcek) Vybiral. She was a homemaker and had been a Taylor resident since 1936.

Albina was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. In 1929 she married Ligie Machalicek, who preceded her in death.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased in death by her three brothers, Ben, Anton and Frank; and three sisters, Mary, Josie and Frances.

Survivors include her son, Victor Machalicek of Round Rock, two sisters, Helen Wells of Taylor and LaDella Caffey and husband Lester of Thrall; nice grandchildren and 19 grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled at 10 am Tuesday, Feb. 3, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Tom Chamberlain officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.

Condra Funeral Home of Taylor is in charge of arrangements.
