Moulton - Victor J. Machart, 80, of Moulton, died Monday, Aug. 12, 2002.

He was born July 27, 1922, in Moulton to the late Peter J. and Mary Rothbauer Machart. He was a railroad agent and a member of the VFW and American Legion. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Survivors: wife, Lorene Leck; and sister, Georgie Mendel of Sugar Land.

Preceded in death by: one sister.

A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. tonight at Smith Funeral Home chapel.

Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, the Rev. Gabriel Maison officiating. Burial will be at Moulton Catholic Cemetery. Smith Funeral Home, Moulton, 361-596-4631.
