Willie J. Machart, a resident of the Plainview community for the past 28 years, died in Nightingale Hospital on Tuesday, June 17.

He was born in Shiner on April 26, 1916 and was 59 years old.

A rosary was recited in the Triska Chpael on June 18 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services were held at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Hillje at 3 p.m. Thursday, June 19.

Burial was in the St. Andrews Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers included Gus, Frankie, Bennie, Jerry, George and Bohumil Machart.

Survivors include his wife, Josephine; one daughter, Mrs. Elo (Georgia) Foyt of Edna; three sons, Alvin of El Campo, Charles of Bay City and Billie of Louise; and five grandchildren.

Also two sisters, Mrs. Rosie Nemec of Corpus Christi and Mrs. Ludmilla Fikac of Shiner; and three brothers, Bohumil of Ganado, Raymond of El Campo and John of Houston.
