Clara Irwin Machu, died August 11, 1999.

She is survived by her husband, Alvin, daughters Frances Machu von Rosenberg and husband Arthur, Teresa Machu, both of San Antonio, son, Alvin "Bud" Machu, grandchildren, Martin von Rosenberg, Arlington, Va., William von Rosenberg, San Antonio, sister Louise Calvert, Bakersfield, Ca. sister-in-law Cora Machu of Geronimo, Texas and special family friend, Carol Thronson.

Clara and Alvin met in California during WWII while Alvin serving in the Army and Clara was a "Rosie the Riverter". She was a member of MacArthur Park Lutheran Church and an avid fan of the Churchill softball team.

Visitation will begin Friday, August 13, 1999 at 6pm at Sunset Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, August 14, 199 at 10:30 at MacArthur Park Lutheran Church, 2903 Nacogdoches Rd. Graveside Services will follow at 2:00pm at the Taylor City Cemetery, Taylor, Texas.

Memorials may be made to Vitas Hospice Care.
