Graveside services for Raymond Jerome Machu, 91, of Grnager were held Saturday, Dec. 30, 1995 at Machu Cemetery in Granger with the Rev. Albert Michalik officiating. He died Friday, Dec. 29, 1995 in a Taylor hospital. Raymond Jerome Machu was born Sept. 30, 1904 in Granger to Joun T. Machu and Veronika Pokorny Machu. He was co-owner of Ray's Place for 25 years. He had resided in Granger all his life and was a member of Granger Bretheren Church and the SPJST. He married Lillian Pustijovsky on Aug. 26, 1924. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Pustejovsky on Feb. 22, 1991. Survivors inlcude a daughter, Lillian Labaj of Granger; a sister Bertha Kopecky of Bay City; three grandchildren, Debra Gaswint and husband James, John Labaj and wife Karen and Rosanna Gaswint and hsuband Mike; and six great-grandchildren. Condra Funeral Home of Taylor was in charge of arrangements.
