6/11/2003 Adolph Joseph Nedbalek, 95, died Tuesday, June 10, 2003 in Houston. He was born October 6, 1907 in Snook, Texas to Joseph and Anna Nedbalek. He was a longtime member of Reid Memorial United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in WWII during the European Campaign from Normandy to the Battle of the Bulge earning 5 campaign stars. His three sisters, Minnie Rasmussen, Mary Moore, and Annie Champion preceded him in death. His loving wife of 60 years, Fannie Nedbalek, and a son, Jerry Nedbalek, survives him. He is also survived by loving family members, Jackie Wallis, Larry and Gladys Evans, Mike and Carolyn Milby and many other relatives. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, June 11, 2003 at Heights Funeral Home, 1317 Heights Boulevard. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 12, 2003 at Reid Memorial United Methodist Church, 5203 Fulton St. with Reverend Hill Johnson and Dr. Frank Alegria officiating. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery. A very special thank you to Juana Rodriguez for her love and special care during Adolph's illness.
