Banner Online Jun 2000 Mary Novak NeSmith, 88, of Fort Worth, Texas, died Sunday, June 4, 2000. Funeral services were held at 12 noon on Tuesday, June 6, at St. Andrew Catholic Church followed by burial at Mount Olivet under the direction of Thompson's Harveson & Cole. Mrs. NeSmith was born December 8, 1911, in Bomarton, Texas, and had been a resident of Fort Worth since 1930. She was a Charter member of St. Andrew Catholic Church and a lifelong member of SPJST and KJZT. She assisted her husband, H.E. NeSmith, in their business, NeSmith Office Furniture, for 25 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, H.E. NeSmith. Survivors include two daughters, Sr. Miriam NeSmith, S.S.M.N. and Judy Briscoe and her husband, Bob, of Fort Worth; a grandson, Gabe Briscoe and his wife, Priscilla, of Fort Worth; a great- granddaughter, Isabel Briscoe, of Fort Worth; a sister, Martha Novak of Seymour; and many nieces and nephews.
