Bloomington - Della Rubac Newman, 74, of Bloomington, died Friday, March 7, 2003. She was born March 28, 1929, in Bloomington, to the late Joe and Frances Mikaska Rubac. She was owner of Newman Aviaries and a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors: daughters, Sandra Goode of Bloomington and Tammy Newman of Victoria; sons, Michael Newman of Bandera, Richard Newman of Bloomington and Vincent Newman of Victoria; sister, Minnie Hack; brother, J.D. Rubac; eight grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren. Preceded in death by: husband, Jack Newman; parents; sister, Betty Nedbelek; brothers, Ben Rubac, Jerry Rubac, Edward Rubac and Herman Rubac; and grandson, Colby Newman. Family visitation will be 7-9 p.m. tonight at Colonial Funeral Home chapel. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel, the Rev. Marcos Gohlke officiating.
