Abstract of Obituary.
Funeral services for Dorothy Marie Nollkamper, 66 of LaGrange will be held July 7 at Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in the LaGrange City Cemetery. The Rev. Ron Weber will officiate. She died July 5 in LaGrange. Born Aug. 3, 1931 in Houston, she was the daughter of August and Lola (Vrazel) Sopcjak. She married Erwin John Nollkamper on May 11, 1963. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church of LaGrange. Survivors include her husband, E.J. "Gene" Nollkamper of LaGrange; one daughter, Delores Burns of Spring; three sons and daughters-in-law, Allen and Joan Kristoff of Houston, Curtis Recek of Wallhalla and Rallan and Dawn Recek of Bryan; one brother and sister-in-law, Edwin and Juanita Sopctak of Youngsville, LA; two sisters and brother-in-law, Lillie Mae McLellen of Mongomery and Gertrude and Richard stehle of Hope Hull, AL; a mother-in-law, Annie Nollkamper of LaGrange; 9 grandchildren, one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, August and Lola Sopcjak; one brother, August Sopcjak; one brother, August Sopckjk and her father-in-law, Erwin Nollkamper. Koenig-Peel & Strickland Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
