Charles "Fred" Novak, loving father, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 28, 2000 at the age of 74 in Houston, Texas.

Fred was born in Tennessee on June 9, 1925 and was raised in Oklahoma City. He worked for many years as a newspaper pressman, including 32 years at the Houston Chronicle.

He is survived by two sons, Larry Novak of Clear Lake, Tx and Jerry Lunn of Oklahoma City, Ok, a daughter, Kim Novak of Austin, TX and two sisters, Alice Aden of Portland, OR and Mary McMahon of Oklahoma City, Ok.

He will be greatly missed by many friends and relatives. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 1, 2000, Woodlawn Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 2, 2000, Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. J. David Hargrove officiating. Interment Woodlawn Garden of Memories.
