George W. Novak Jr., P.E., 65, died July 20, 1994.

Life member and past chairman of American Society for Metals (A.S.M.), Professional Engineer and founding member of South Council of Professional Building Inspectors, Inc., Text and Houston Association of Real Estate Inspectors.

Survived by daughter, Elaine Chrisman and husband Terry; grandson Jason Chrisman; sisters, Shirley Breazeale and husband William V., Gloria King and husband W. Rex.

Funeral Mass, 1 p.m. Friday, July 22, 1994, St. Thomas More Church, 10330 Hilcroft, Rev. Edwin Coreas, celebrant. Graveside Service, 2:30 p.m. Friday, July 22, 1994, Houston National Cemetery.

In lieu of usual rememberances those desiring may make memorials to the Houston Hospice or American Cancer Society.
