Novak services set Services for James Novak, 59, a Chronicle printer since 1966, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 6921 Chetwood. A rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in Earthman's Funeral Home, 6700 Ferris. Novak, a World War II veteran, died Thursday in his home at 5907 Clarewood.

James Thomas Novak, age 59, of 5907 Clarewood, passed away October 21, 1976. He was employeed with the Houston Chronicle as a printer. Veteran of WWII, member of the International Typographical Union. Member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Survivors: Wife, Mrs. Regina S. Novak; sons, Jim Novak, Tom Novak, Rick Novak; daughter, Luanne Novak, all of Houston; Brothers, Fred Novak of Houston; Richard Novak and Frank Novak of Oklahoma City, Okla.; sisters: Bonnie Novak of Oklahoma City, Alice Aden of Portland, Oregon, Mary McMahan of San Antonio. Rosary will be recited Sunday, 7:30 p.m. Earthman's Bellaire, Funeral Services 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 25, 1976, Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Burial Houston National Cemetery.
