Robert A. (Bob) Novosad, 76, died Sept. 27 in Houston.

Funeral services were Sept. 29 in Heights Funeral Home Chapel, Houston.

Burial was in the Houston National Cemetery. The Rev. Bill Bartniski officiated.

Born Jan. 24, 1922 in Fayetteville, he was the son of Paul F. and Mary Gerik Novosad.

Survivors include his sisters, Lillie F. Ruhmann and her husband Owen and Alice Whiteman and her husband Walter; a sister-in-law, Mildred Novosad.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Maj. Jerry Novosad, and a sister, Doris Novosad.

Heights Funeral Home of Houston was in charge of arrangements.
