John S. Nowak, 83, 904 Post Street, entered into rest Sunday.

Resident of Houston 2 years. Member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Chappell Hill.

Survivors: Two sons, S. J. Nowak, J. J. Nowak, both of Houston; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Gruchala, Houston, Mrs. Stach Murski, Brenham; seven grandchildren; one great- grandchild.

Rosary 7 p.m. Monday, Chapel of the Chimes by Knights of Columbus Bishop Odin Council 2917. Mass 10 a.m. Tuesday, St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Chappell Hill. Burial Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Leonard, Theodore, and Emeric Nowak, Charles Dorsz, Erick Ziemtek, Charles Kubecka.
