Willie "Bill" Nowak, 89, passed away Thursday, June 16, 1998.

He was born on Colorado Co., Texas to William and Alvina Nowak. Mr. Nowak served his entire professional career as a barber in East Bernard and Houston. He was also a longtime member of The Sons of Hermann, Magnolia Lodge #007.

Mr. Nowak is survived by wife of 63 years, Annie Nowak; daughters, Billie Jean Nowak and JoAnn Bigger and husband Robert; sisters, Alice Nowak and Pauline Reed; brother, Henry Nowak and grandchildren, Craig Bigger and Kenneth Bigger. He is also survived by two great-granddaughters, Ashlyn and Alexandria Bigger.

Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 21, 1998 at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, June 22, 1998 in the Chapel of Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
